Description
Creeper Concepts Hi-Capa Series HPA M4 Adapter Gen2
The Creeper Concepts Hi-Capa Series HPA M4 Adapter Gen2 is a conversion that lets a Hi-Capa gas blowback pistol run from compressed air (HPA) while feeding BBs from an M4-style magazine. It sits in the pistol’s magazine well in place of the usual green gas magazine, takes its air from a regulated HPA line and has an M4 magazine fitted underneath for its BB supply.
Creeper Concepts is well known in the speedsoft and competition scene for its HPA magazine adapters, and the Gen2 is its updated design. This kind of setup is especially popular in speedsoft, where players use HPA Hi-Capas as light, fast primaries.
Why convert to HPA
Green gas pistols depend on temperature: on a cold day, gas pressure drops and both power and blowback can fall away. Running the pistol from a regulated HPA tank removes that problem, because the air is delivered at a steady pressure you choose on the regulator. The result is consistent shot-to-shot performance all year round, with no gas canisters to buy.
Feeding from an M4 magazine also changes what the pistol can do. Instead of a pistol magazine, you can use standard M4 magazines, including mid-caps and high-caps, which gives a big jump in capacity and makes reloads quick and familiar for anyone who also runs an M4 primary.
How it works
The adapter slides into the pistol’s grip like a magazine. An HPA line from your tank and regulator connects to the adapter, which supplies air to the pistol’s valve, and the M4 magazine plugs into the bottom of the adapter to supply BBs. The pistol then fires and cycles on air rather than gas.
Key features
- Converts a Hi-Capa series pistol to run on regulated HPA
- Feeds from M4-style magazines for much greater capacity
- Consistent performance regardless of temperature
- No green gas to buy
- Gen2 design from Creeper Concepts
- Popular for speedsoft and competitive CQB
Compatibility
Designed for Hi-Capa series gas blowback pistols. Hi-Capa clones vary slightly between manufacturers, so please check that your pistol follows the standard Hi-Capa pattern before ordering. You will also need an HPA tank, a regulator suitable for pistol use and an air line with a fitting that matches the adapter; Creeper Concepts adapters have been offered with different line fittings, so check the photos or ask us which this one uses. The pistol’s valve, hammer and blowback setup may need tuning for best results on HPA.
Care and maintenance
Always de-gas the line and remove the adapter before working on the pistol. Keep the adapter’s O-rings and line fittings clean, and give the seals a small drop of silicone oil now and then to keep them sealing well. Check for leaks with the system pressurised before each game. Start with a low regulator pressure and work up gradually, staying within your site’s power limits.
Who is it for?
Speedsoft and competitive CQB players with a Hi-Capa who want consistent all-weather performance, high capacity and a familiar M4 magazine reload.
Please note: The pistol, HPA tank, regulator, line and magazines are not included. Always chronograph your setup and check your site’s power limits.
