Cyma CM042 AK Real Wood (Metal Body)
The Cyma CM042 is an AK-47 style AEG with a full metal receiver and real wood furniture, giving it the classic look and solid feel of the most famous rifle in the world. Cyma is one of the best-known names for dependable, affordable AEGs, and the CM042 is one of its most popular models.
If you want a traditional AK with real wood and metal rather than plastic, the CM042 is an excellent choice. It suits Eastern Bloc and Cold War loadouts, woodland and milsim games, and players who simply love the look of a wood-furnished Kalashnikov.

Compatibility
The CM042 takes AK-47/74 pattern AEG magazines from most brands. The Version 3 gearbox is compatible with standard V3 upgrade parts.
Use 0.20g or 0.25g seamless BBs, and an 8.4V battery that fits the battery compartment.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery whenever the rifle is not in use, and store it separately at a sensible storage charge. Never leave a battery plugged in overnight or in a hot vehicle, and only charge with a charger suited to the battery chemistry.
Run a cleaning rod with a soft patch through the inner barrel every few games, or whenever accuracy drops, to clear dirt and BB residue. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as cheap or damaged BBs are the most common cause of jams and hop-up wear.
Keep the outside of the gun dry and wipe off mud and moisture after a game. Store it in a padded bag or case away from damp, and have a qualified technician look at the gearbox if you notice changes in sound, rate of fire or trigger response.
Wipe the wooden furniture dry after damp games and treat it occasionally with a suitable wood oil or wax.
Who is it for?
The CM042 suits players who want a classic, wood and metal AK without a high-end price, collectors of Eastern Bloc replicas and new players looking for a sturdy first rifle.
Please note: Battery and charger are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits before play.
