Description
Cyma CM351 Sawed Off Short Barrel Tri-Shotgun (CYMA-CM351)
The Cyma CM351 is a compact, sawn-off style pump-action airsoft shotgun that fires three BBs at once. With its short barrel and cut-down profile it is built for close quarters, where a spread of three BBs gives you a better chance of a hit on a moving target.
Being a manual pump action, it needs no battery and no gas: rack the pump, pull the trigger and three BBs leave the barrel together. That makes it reliable, cheap to run and a great deal of fun, whether as a CQB primary or a secondary weapon.
How it works
Inside the CM351 are three separate cylinders and pistons, one for each barrel. Each pump of the fore-end cocks all three, and the trigger releases them together, sending one BB down each barrel. Each barrel has its own fixed hop-up to give the BBs some lift.
Ammunition is loaded into shell-style cartridges, each holding up to 30 BBs, using a speedloader. That gives you plenty of shots before reloading and adds to the authentic shotgun feel.
Handling
The short barrel and compact layout make the CM351 quick to bring to bear around corners, through doorways and in vehicles or buildings. At around 1.68kg it is light enough to carry as a sidearm on a sling. The pump handle is polymer, with sling attachment points so you can carry it hands-free.
Playing with a shotgun
A tri-shot spreads its three BBs slightly, which helps against a target that is moving or partly hidden. Close the distance before you fire, use cover to get into range, and fire from corners or doorways where opponents have little time to react. Practise racking the pump smoothly so follow-up shots come quickly.
Carry a couple of loaded shells in a pouch for quick reloads. Some players also use the CM351 as a secondary to a rifle, slung across the back for room clearing.
Choosing BBs
For short-range indoor play, 0.20g to 0.23g BBs work well; for a little more accuracy at longer range, 0.25g is a good choice. Use only good quality seamless BBs to avoid jams across the three barrels.

Care and maintenance
Wipe the gun down after each game and keep it dry. Run a cleaning rod with a soft patch through the inner barrel from time to time to keep accuracy consistent.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; poor BBs cause jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Avoid dry-firing too often, as firing without a BB in the chamber puts extra stress on the piston and cylinder head.
If you are storing the gun for a long period, leave it uncocked so the main spring is not held under compression.
Load shells only with a speedloader made for them, and do not force BBs in, as this can damage the shell feed lips.
Who is it for?
The CM351 suits CQB players, anyone wanting a light secondary that does not need batteries or gas, and players who enjoy the satisfying rack-and-fire of a pump shotgun.
Please note: BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits before play.
