Description
Cyma CM515 M4 Long RIS AEG (Sports Line, Blue)
The Cyma CM515 is a full-length M4-pattern electric rifle with a quad-rail RIS handguard, part of Cyma’s affordable Sports Line and finished in blue. The longer barrel and handguard give it a classic carbine profile with plenty of room for accessories, making it a versatile choice for woodland and outdoor sites as well as general skirmishing.
The blue finish is a UK-style coloured version, clearly identifiable as a replica while keeping the familiar M4 look and handling. Inside it uses the same well-proven Version 2 mechanics found in many of Cyma’s more expensive guns, so it is a sound first purchase that will last and can be upgraded as your skills develop.
Build and design
The receiver, pistol grip and stock are high-density polymer, which keeps weight down and stands up well to regular use, while the outer barrel is alloy. The quad-rail RIS handguard has 20mm rails at the top, bottom and sides, so you can mount a foregrip, torch, laser or bipod, and the receiver carries a 20mm top rail for a red dot or scope. Flip-up iron sights are fitted.
The five-position crane stock adjusts to suit your build and kit, and houses the battery. A Mini Tamiya connector is used.
Performance and internals
The Version 2 gearbox has an alloy shell, an 18:1 steel gear set on 8mm steel bushings and is rear-wired. It is compatible with standard Tokyo Marui-pattern M4 AEG parts, which makes upgrades and spares easy to find. A 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel helps with consistency, and the outer barrel has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread for a suppressor or tracer.
The rotary hop-up adjuster sits behind the mock bolt cover; pull back the charging handle to reach it, then dial it in to suit the weight of BB you are using.
On the field
The longer barrel and handguard suit outdoor games where you want a stable platform for mid-range shooting. Add a simple red dot or low-power optic to the top rail, and a vertical grip or angled grip on the lower rail for a comfortable hold.

Compatibility
Takes standard M4/AR-15-pattern AEG magazines. The Version 2 gearbox accepts Tokyo Marui-pattern M4 parts, the 20mm rails take standard accessories and optics, and the 14mm counter-clockwise thread suits most suppressors and tracer units. Batteries need to fit a crane stock and use, or be adapted to, a Mini Tamiya connector.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out of the gun whenever you are not using it, and store LiPo batteries at storage charge in a fire-resistant bag. Never leave a battery charging unattended.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; cheap or damaged BBs are the most common cause of jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Run a cleaning rod with a dry patch through the inner barrel every few games, and if a BB jams, clear it with the rod from the muzzle end with the battery removed.
After each game wipe the outside down to remove dirt and moisture, and let the gun dry at room temperature if it has been out in the rain. Turn the hop-up back off when storing it for long periods, and leave the gun on safe and on semi rather than full auto, so the spring is not left compressed.
Who is it for?
The CM515 suits beginners who want a full-size M4 they can grow with, as well as players looking for an affordable woodland or outdoor rifle with plenty of rail space.
Please note: Please check the listing for whether a battery and charger are included. BBs are sold separately. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the rules at your site before play.
