Description
Double Bell Scope Mounts (Black – 98-L-1)
These Double Bell scope mounts in black, part reference 98-L-1, let you fit a scope securely to your airsoft rifle’s rail. Good mounts are an essential part of any optic set-up: they hold the scope steady so your sight picture stays where you left it through a full day of play.
Whether you are fitting a new scope, replacing worn or broken mounts, or moving an optic from one rifle to another, a solid pair of mounts is a simple way to get your set-up right. Double Bell produces a wide range of airsoft rifles and accessories, and these mounts are a straightforward, practical choice.
Fitting your scope
Before fitting, check that the mount ring size matches your scope tube and that the base fits your rifle’s rail. Fit the mounts loosely, place the scope in the rings and slide it backwards and forwards until you have the right eye relief, which is the distance where you see a full, clear picture with your head in a natural position.
Level the scope so the reticle is upright, then tighten the screws evenly, a little at a time on each side, so the rings clamp the tube without crushing or twisting it.
Keeping your zero
Once your scope is mounted, zero it with your usual BB weight and hop-up setting. If you remove the scope and refit it later, try to put the mounts back in the same rail slots so you stay close to your previous zero.

Compatibility
Check the ring diameter against your scope’s tube size and make sure the base suits your rifle’s rail type before ordering. Ring height also matters: the scope’s objective lens must clear the rifle’s rail and barrel, so if you are fitting a large scope, check there will be enough clearance. If in doubt, contact us with your scope and rifle details.
Care and maintenance
Check the mount screws before each game, as vibration and knocks can loosen them over time. Do not over-tighten, as this can strip threads or mark the scope tube. Wipe off mud and moisture after use, and store your rifle with the optic protected from knocks.
Who is it for?
These mounts are for any player fitting, replacing or moving a scope on a rail-equipped airsoft rifle, from newer players setting up their first optic to sniper and marksman players fine-tuning their set-up.
Please note: The scope is not included.
