Build and design
The rifle combines a nylon polymer body with a metal upper receiver, keeping weight manageable while giving strength where it matters. RIS rails along the receiver and handguard take standard 20mm optics and accessories, so you can add a red dot, torch or grip easily.
The stock folds to the side for transport and close-quarters use, and the battery fits inside it. A folding stock also makes the rifle easier to carry in a car or rifle bag.
Performance
The SCR-L fires on safe, semi-automatic and fully automatic, and the adjustable hop-up allows you to set the backspin for your chosen BB weight. Take time at the range to dial it in before your first game, and get the rifle chronographed at the site.

Getting started

Fire a few shots at a safe target and add hop a little at a time until the BBs fly flat without rising at the end of their flight.
Have the rifle chronographed at your site before you play, and keep a note of the hop setting that suits your favourite BB weight so you can return to it quickly.

Care and maintenance
Remove the battery whenever you are not using the rifle, and never leave a LiPo charging unattended. Run a cleaning rod with a clean patch through the inner barrel regularly to keep accuracy consistent, and only use clean, seamless BBs of a decent brand.
After muddy or wet games, wipe the outside down and let the rifle dry naturally before casing it. Check that rails, accessories and the stock are tight, and have any gearbox work carried out by an experienced technician.
