Description

Double Eagle M56DL Tri-Shot Pump Shotgun (Spring)

The Double Eagle M56DL is a spring-powered pump-action airsoft shotgun that fires three BBs with every shot. It has a modern tactical look, with an adjustable stock, a top rail for optics and rubberised grip areas, and gives you all the fun of a pump shotgun without batteries or gas.

Tri-shot shotguns are some of the most enjoyable guns in airsoft, and the M56DL is a popular, affordable model. It suits CQB play, players who want a satisfying secondary weapon, and anyone looking for a reliable shotgun that is always ready to use.

How it works

Each time you rack the pump, the M56DL cocks its spring mechanism and loads three BBs, which fire together as a small spread when you pull the trigger. That spread gives you a better chance of hitting a moving or partly hidden target at close range.

Ammunition is held in shell-style magazines, each holding up to 30 BBs, which is enough for around ten tri-shot shots before you need to swap shells. A speedloader makes refilling quick and easy.

Build and handling

Textured rubber on the buttstock, pump and pistol grip gives a secure hold, even with gloves or in the wet. The adjustable stock slides and locks into four positions, so you can set the length of pull to suit your build and kit.

A 13cm top rail takes standard 20mm optics such as a red dot, and integrated adjustable iron sights are there if you prefer to keep things simple. At around 2.7kg, it has a reassuring weight that steadies your aim. A trigger-lock safety is fitted.

Playing with a shotgun

Shotguns reward close-range, aggressive play: use cover to close the distance, then fire from corners or doorways. Practise racking the pump smoothly so follow-up shots come quickly, and carry spare loaded shells in a pouch for fast reloads.

Compatibility

Use Double Eagle M56-series tri-shot shells; shells for the M56 family are generally interchangeable, but check the listing before buying spares.

The top rail accepts standard 20mm optics. 0.20g seamless BBs are the recommended weight.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the gun down after each game and keep it dry. Run a cleaning rod with a soft patch through the inner barrel from time to time to keep accuracy consistent.

Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; poor BBs cause jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Avoid dry-firing too often, as firing without a BB in the chamber puts extra stress on the piston and cylinder head.

If you are storing the gun for a long period, leave it uncocked so the main spring is not held under compression.

Load shells with the speedloader and do not force BBs in, as this can damage the feed lips.

Who is it for?

The M56DL suits CQB players, anyone wanting a gas-free, battery-free secondary, and players who enjoy the satisfying rack-and-fire of a pump shotgun.

Please note: BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits before play.
