Description
Double Eagle Red Dot Sniper Scope (No Zoom, Black)
The Double Eagle Red Dot Sniper Scope combines a red dot aiming point with the look of a traditional rifle scope. It has no magnification, so what you see through it is the same size as with the naked eye, with a red dot placed over the target. It is finished in black.
Double Eagle is a long-standing maker of affordable airsoft replicas and accessories. This sight is a budget-friendly way to give a rifle the long-gun look of a scope while keeping the speed and simplicity of a red dot.
Why choose a red dot without zoom
Magnified scopes are great for spotting targets at range, but they narrow your field of view and can be slow to use when targets appear close up. A non-magnifying red dot lets you keep both eyes open, see everything around the target and simply place the dot where you want the BB to go. For most airsoft engagement distances that is faster and easier, especially when targets are moving.
Using it
Mount the sight securely on your rifle, then zero it at your usual engagement distance: fire a few shots at a target, see where they land and adjust the dot until it sits where the BBs hit. Because airsoft BBs follow a curved path and are affected by hop-up, it is worth zeroing with the BB weight and hop-up setting you actually use in games.

Compatibility
Check the listing images to see whether mounts or rings are supplied and what rail size they suit; most airsoft rifles use 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rails. Check the battery type the sight uses before your first game and keep a spare in your kit bag.
Care and maintenance
Keep the lenses clean with a soft lens cloth, and avoid wiping grit across the glass. Turn the dot off after use to save the battery, and remove the battery if you will not use the sight for a long time. Check that the mount is tight before each game, and protect the lenses from BB hits with a suitable lens protector if your site allows.
Who is it for?
This sight suits players who want the speed of a red dot with the look of a scope, newer players looking for an affordable optic, and anyone who finds magnified scopes slow at typical airsoft ranges.
