Description
EMG Helios EV01 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle by ARES (Green/OD – EV01-OD)
The Helios EV01 is a lightweight bolt-action sniper rifle built by ARES under licence from EMG. Styled loosely on the M40 and based on ARES’s STRIKER platform, it is a straightforward, easy-to-handle rifle for players starting out in the sniper role. This version is finished in olive drab green.
Build and performance
The rifle chassis is polymer, keeping weight down, while the receiver, action and barrel are metal. It is a spring-powered bolt action with a short, smooth stroke and an adjustable trigger. The hop-up is adjustable using an Allen key stored in the pistol grip. The 530mm inner barrel sits inside an outer barrel with a 23mm proprietary thread that accepts ARES STRIKER flash hiders and suppressors.

Good to know
The box includes the rifle, a 55 round magazine, a cleaning rod, a BB loading tube and two Allen keys. At around 400 FPS, check your site’s bolt-action limits and minimum engagement distance, and use heavier, high-quality BBs for the best range. This is a realistic imitation firearm (RIF), so buying it in the UK requires a valid defence such as UKARA registration. Always wear eye protection and check your site’s power limits before you play.
