How it works
The EG18 uses Enola Gaye’s Wire Pull ignition. Hold the grenade firmly, pull the ring and the grenade begins to smoke within moments. There is no striker cap to scratch and no need for a lighter, which makes it quick to deploy in the middle of a game, even with gloves on. Once it is going, it delivers around 90 seconds of continuous smoke. Enola Gaye rates its cloud size as 6 on its own scale, which puts the EG18 among its larger-output smokes.
Using it

Compatibility
The EG18 is a hand-held, hand-thrown smoke and does not need a launcher or any other equipment. It fits most general-purpose and grenade pouches; check the size of your pouch if you want a snug fit. Always check your site’s rules, as some sites restrict where and when smoke can be used, and some do not allow pyrotechnics at all.
Storage and handling
Store smoke grenades in a cool, dry place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and keep them in their packaging until you need them. Do not use a grenade that is damp, crushed or damaged. Keep the pull ring secure in transit so it cannot be snagged, and carry grenades in a pouch rather than loose in a pocket. Read the instructions printed on the grenade before use.
After use, the casing gets very hot. Leave it where it lands until it has stopped smoking and cooled down completely, then pick it up and dispose of it responsibly. Never try to relight or reuse a spent grenade.
