Description
Enola Gaye Twin Vent Burst Smoke Grenade (Yellow)
This yellow Enola Gaye Twin Vent Burst releases a thick cloud of bright yellow smoke from both ends at once, building heavy cover in moments. Yellow is very visible against most backgrounds, which makes it effective for both screening and signalling.
Enola Gaye is a British company and one of the best-known names in coloured smoke. Its Twin Vent smoke is designed for a fast, heavy release, putting out a large volume of smoke in a short time. Retailers describe it as producing in around 20 seconds the same amount of smoke that the WP40 releases over 90 seconds.
How it works
Smoke vents from both ends of the tube at once, which is how the Twin Vent builds a thick cloud so quickly. Ignition is by Enola Gaye’s Wire Pull system: hold the grenade firmly, pull the ring and throw. There is no striker and no lighter needed. Retailers list the Twin Vent with a 40mm tube and 40g of smoke composition.
Using it
Use it to cover a dash across an open field, a flanking move or a withdrawal, throwing it just before you move and slightly upwind of your route. In scenario games, bright yellow works well to mark a hazard, a target area or a rendezvous point that must be seen quickly. For photographers, a yellow burst gives a vivid, sunny look; have the camera ready, as the burst is short and intense.

Compatibility
The Twin Vent is thrown by hand and needs no launcher. It fits most general-purpose and grenade pouches. Check your site’s rules before use, as policies on smoke and pyrotechnics vary.
Storage and handling
Store smoke grenades in a cool, dry place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and keep them in their packaging until you need them. Do not use a grenade that is damp, crushed or damaged. Keep the pull ring secure in transit so it cannot be snagged, and carry grenades in a pouch rather than loose in a pocket. Read the instructions printed on the grenade before use.
After use, the casing gets very hot. Leave it where it lands until it has stopped smoking and cooled down completely, then pick it up and dispose of it responsibly. Never try to relight or reuse a spent grenade.
Who is it for?
The yellow Twin Vent Burst suits airsoft and paintball players who need smoke cover in a hurry, teams that want an instant, unmistakable signal, and photographers and videographers who want a big burst of colour for a short, high-impact shot.
Please note: This is a pyrotechnic product. Use it outdoors only, follow the instructions on the grenade and the rules of your site, never hold it in front of your face and always wear suitable eye protection.
