Description
FMA FTM Hand Stop Kit (Black) (TB969-BK)
The FMA FTM Hand Stop Kit (TB969-BK) is a black rail hand stop kit, styled on the well-known XTM Hand Stop Kit for Picatinny rails. The original kit combines a large hand stop with snap-on rail covers and a short index panel, which together protect unused rail and give the support hand a comfortable, textured place to sit.
Hand stops are a simple but effective upgrade: they give your support hand a fixed reference point on the handguard and stop it creeping forward, so your grip and stance stay consistent from shot to shot. The black finish suits black rifles and furniture.
How the original kit works
On the original design, the hand stop is fixed to the rail with a small hex key, while the rail covers and index panel snap onto the rail slots with interlocking tabs. The hand stop gives your hand a forward limit so it cannot drift towards the muzzle, and the covers protect the rail and give a better grip than bare rail teeth.
We have not confirmed every piece in FMA’s kit, so please check the product images to see exactly what is included.
Setting it up
FMA is a long-established maker of airsoft furniture and accessories, and this kit is an affordable way to get the look and feel of a popular real-steel design on your replica. This black version is also made in foliage green (TB969-FG). Decide where your support hand naturally falls when you shoulder the rifle, fit the hand stop just ahead of that point, and then fill the rail behind it with covers so the whole area is comfortable to hold. Tighten the hand stop firmly and check nothing moves before you play.
