This is a replacement magazine for the Galaxy G19 spring-powered airsoft pistol. Galaxy spring pistols are popular as affordable first pistols, backyard target shooters and simple, reliable sidearms, and a spare magazine is one of the most useful extras you can buy for one.
Having a second magazine loaded and ready means less time thumbing BBs in and more time shooting, whether you are plinking at targets in the garden or carrying the pistol as a backup. It is also the straightforward fix if the original magazine has been lost, dropped in the undergrowth or damaged.
Using it
Load 6mm airsoft BBs into the magazine, push it fully home into the pistol grip until it seats, then cock the slide as normal to shoot. Because a spring pistol is cocked by hand for each shot, there is no gas or battery to worry about, so a couple of loaded magazines are all you need for a full session.
Load the magazine slowly and evenly, and do not force more BBs in once it feels full. Overfilling can strain the follower spring and cause feeding problems.
Why carry a spare
On a target range or in the garden, a spare magazine keeps the session flowing. On the skirmish field, being able to drop an empty magazine and insert a full one is far quicker than reloading under pressure. Many owners keep one magazine loaded in a pouch and a second in the pistol.

Compatibility
Designed for the Galaxy G19 spring pistol only. Spring pistol magazines are usually specific to one model, so it is unlikely to fit other Galaxy models or pistols from other brands, even if they look similar. Check the model of your pistol before ordering.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs. Poor quality BBs with seams or flashing are more likely to jam in a spring pistol magazine and can damage the hop-up and barrel.
Care and maintenance
Keep the magazine clean and dry, and wipe it over if it has been dropped in mud or wet grass. Grit inside the magazine is the most common cause of misfeeds.
Do not leave the magazine fully loaded for long periods, as this keeps the follower spring compressed and can weaken it over time. Store it unloaded in a cool, dry place.
