The Golden Eagle M4 RIS CQB ‘Tanker’ is a compact M4-style electric rifle with a railed (RIS) handguard, finished in black and supplied with a battery and charger. With everything you need to power it in the box, it is a straightforward way to get into airsoft with the most popular rifle platform in the sport.
CQB means close-quarter battle, and the CQB layout keeps the rifle short and handy for indoor sites, urban areas and moving through dense woodland. Design and handling
The RIS handguard gives you rail space on all sides for a torch, laser, vertical grip or bipod, and the top rail takes a red dot or magnified optic. The M4 layout means a pistol grip, safety selector and magazine release where you would expect them, and controls that are easy to learn.
A short CQB rifle is easy to carry and quick to bring on target, which makes it a sensible first rifle for players who mainly visit indoor or mixed sites.
Battery and charger included
The supplied battery and charger mean you can start as soon as the battery is charged. Follow the manual carefully: charge on a non-flammable surface, never leave a battery unattended while charging, and disconnect it when full.
If you upgrade the battery later, choose one that fits the rifle’s battery space and uses the same connector, or fit a suitable adaptor.
Getting started
Charge your battery on a proper charger and fit it following the manual. Load a magazine and test-fire at a safe backstop, starting with the hop-up off and bringing it up gradually until shots fly flat. A few minutes of zeroing at the range makes a big difference to your confidence on the field.
Practise magazine changes and battery swaps at home, and get the rifle chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
M4-pattern AEGs generally take M4/M16 AEG magazines, but fit and feeding vary between brands, so please check with us or try a spare before relying on it in a game. The RIS rails take standard 20mm accessories.
If you buy a different battery later, check that it fits the battery space and that the connector matches.
Care and maintenance
Unplug and remove the battery after use, store LiPos in a fire-safe bag, and charge them on a balance charger you are watching. Keep the inner barrel clean with a rod and patch, because a dirty barrel or hop-up rubber is the most common cause of poor grouping.
Use good quality, polished BBs and avoid reusing BBs picked up from the floor. Keep the rifle dry, check all external screws now and then, and leave internal servicing to someone who knows AEGs well.
