Description
Golden Eagle Type 96 AEG (6400) Blue
The Type 96 is a light machine gun of the 1930s, recognisable by its top-mounted curved magazine, finned barrel, carry handle and folding bipod. Golden Eagle’s model 6400 recreates this distinctive design as an electric airsoft gun, and this version is finished in blue, a UK coloured version that is clearly identifiable as a replica.
Golden Eagle is a manufacturer known for good-value replicas, including several support weapons and machine guns. The Type 96 is an unusual and eye-catching choice that stands out on any site, and its machine gun layout makes it a natural fit for a support role, Second World War themed events and collectors of historic designs.
Compatibility
Use Golden Eagle Type 96 magazines. The gearbox accepts Version 2 internal parts, so many common upgrade and replacement parts will fit. Check the battery space and connector before buying a battery, and contact us for advice on suitable packs.
Care and maintenance
Remove the battery after use and store it correctly; NiMH packs should be charged with a suitable smart charger. Use seamless, good quality BBs, and clean the inner barrel with a rod and dry patch if accuracy drops. Check the bipod and carry handle fixings from time to time, wipe metal parts with a lightly oiled cloth, and store the gun in a long bag or case to protect the bipod and finish.
Who is it for?
The Golden Eagle Type 96 suits support gunners who want something different, Second World War and historic event players, and collectors who appreciate unusual machine gun designs.
Please note: Battery and charger are not included unless stated. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits and rules on support weapons before play.
