Description
Golden Hawk M249 Rifle with Bipod (95cm Length – Black)
The Golden Hawk M249 is a black, M249-style rifle supplied with a bipod and listed at around 95cm long. It gives you the bold outline of a light machine gun in an affordable, spring-powered replica that is cocked by hand before every shot, so there is no gas or battery to buy.
Spring replicas like this are ideal for garden target shooting, for younger shooters learning safe handling under supervision, and for anyone who wants an eye-catching M249-style display piece without the cost and weight of a full electric support weapon.
How it works
Each time you cock the rifle, a spring is compressed behind a piston. Pulling the trigger releases it, and the rush of air fires a single BB. You then cock it again for the next shot, which encourages careful, deliberate aiming and makes every shot count.
Because the power comes from a spring, the rifle works the same in cold or warm weather, and running costs are very low: all you need is a supply of good quality BBs.
Using the bipod
The supplied bipod lets you rest the front of the rifle on a table, wall or the ground, which steadies your aim and makes target practice more rewarding. Shooting from a supported position is also a good way to learn breathing and trigger control.
Set up a safe target with a suitable backstop, such as a BB trap or a box filled with old cloth, and practise from both standing and prone positions.
Getting started
Read the instructions first, load BBs as described, cock the rifle and fire a few shots at your target. Lighter, seamless BBs such as 0.20g are a good starting point for a spring replica of this kind.
Always keep the rifle pointed in a safe direction and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
Display and collecting
With its long body and bipod, the M249 styling makes the rifle a striking display piece for a games room or collection. It is also a popular prop for photos and themed events, where its light weight and simple operation are a real advantage over a full-size electric support weapon.

Compatibility
The rifle fires standard 6mm airsoft BBs; 0.20g seamless BBs are a sensible choice. Magazines and parts for electric M249 replicas will not suit this spring model, so please ask us before ordering spares or accessories.
Care and maintenance
Store the rifle uncocked, somewhere dry, so the spring keeps its strength, and avoid dry-firing it without BBs. Wipe it down after outdoor use.
Use only clean, seamless BBs, as dirty or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams. Check the bipod’s fixings now and then and keep the folding legs free of grit.
Who is it for?
The black Golden Hawk M249 suits beginners, younger shooters under adult supervision and collectors who want an affordable M249-style replica with a bipod for target practice or display.
Please note: BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when using the rifle, make sure everyone nearby does too, and shoot only at a safe target with a suitable backstop.
