Description
Guarder Steel Bolt handle for TYPE96 (NEW Type)
This Guarder steel bolt handle is made for Type 96 bolt-action sniper rifles, in the new type version. The bolt handle is the part you grip every time you cycle the rifle, so it takes a lot of force and wear, especially with stronger springs.
Guarder is a well-known name in airsoft upgrade parts, and a steel handle is a robust replacement for a bent, cracked or worn original. It is also a good choice for snipers who simply want a solid, positive feel when working the bolt.
Why upgrade
Cycling a sniper rifle with an upgraded spring puts real strain on the bolt handle. Alloy or plastic handles can bend or snap at the root over time, which can end a game. A steel handle copes better with repeated, forceful cycling.
A firm handle also helps you cycle quickly and consistently when you are lying prone or working from cover, where a precise bolt action matters.
Fitting
Make sure the rifle is unloaded and decocked and the magazine is removed. Fitting usually means removing the bolt from the receiver and swapping the handle over. Take note of the order of parts as you remove them, and check that the bolt cycles and locks smoothly before reassembling the rifle fully.
