Description
LayLax Anti-Wobble Frame Lock Pin M4 Metal
This LayLax anti-wobble frame lock pin is a metal pin for M4-pattern rifles, made to cut down on movement between the upper and lower receivers. Many M4 replicas develop a little play between the two halves of the receiver over time, which can make the rifle feel loose and rattly.
A tighter fit makes the rifle feel more solid and better made, and it also cuts down on the noise from the receivers knocking together as you move. It is a quick, inexpensive improvement for many M4-style replicas.
About LayLax
LayLax is a long-established Japanese maker of airsoft parts and accessories. Its family of brands covers most areas of the hobby, with Prometheus for internal upgrades, Nine Ball for gas pistol parts, First Factory for external and replacement parts, Giga Tec for electrical items and Satellite for loaders and workshop accessories.
Fitting
Compare the pin with the one in your rifle before you start, and push out the original with a suitable punch, supporting the receiver as you go. Fit the new pin as the instructions describe and check that the upper and lower still open and close smoothly. Do not force a pin that will not go in, as this can damage the receiver.

Compatibility
Listed for M4 replicas. M4 replicas differ between brands, including AEGs, Tokyo Marui Next Generation rifles and gas rifles, and pin sizes vary, so please check which pin your rifle uses before ordering.
Spare parts are often specific to one manufacturer, and sometimes to one production version, so please check your replica’s make and model, and compare this part with the one you are replacing, before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with details of your replica and we will help.
Care and maintenance
If you are not confident working on your replica, have the part fitted by an experienced technician. Keep small screws and springs in a tray while you work, and test the replica’s function carefully with no BBs or gas loaded before using it in a game.
Check the pins and receivers now and then for wear, and keep the pins lightly oiled with a silicone-based lubricant so they move freely.
Store spare parts in a sealed bag or small box, somewhere cool and dry and away from direct sunlight, so rubber and polymer parts do not dry out or deform before you need them.
Who is it for?
This pin is for M4 owners who want to tighten up a wobbly receiver, or replace a worn or lost original.
Please note: The replica is not included.
