Description
Laylax First Factory Lightweight Bolt Carrier End for TM M4A1 MWS GBB
This First Factory lightweight bolt carrier end is made for the Tokyo Marui M4A1 MWS gas blowback rifle. The bolt carrier moves back and forth with every shot, and its weight affects how the rifle cycles, how much gas each shot uses and how the recoil feels.
LayLax is a long-established Japanese maker of airsoft parts, with sub-brands including Prometheus for internal upgrades, Nine Ball for gas pistol parts, First Factory for external and replacement parts and Satellite for loaders and workshop accessories.
Why lighter
In a gas blowback rifle, part of each burst of gas is used to drive the bolt carrier back. As a general rule, lighter moving parts take less energy to cycle, which can help the rifle cycle more briskly and use gas more efficiently, especially on cold days when gas pressure drops. The trade-off is usually a slightly lighter recoil feel.
Because it is a First Factory part made for the MWS, it is designed to work with the Tokyo Marui system. Please check the product images for its exact shape and finish.
Fitting
Remove the bolt carrier from the rifle and swap the end part following the instructions, then lubricate the carrier lightly with a gas blowback lubricant. Cycle the action by hand before testing with gas and no BBs.
