Description
Laylax Nine Ball Hi-Capa 5.1 SAS Front Kit NEO R for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1
The Nine Ball SAS Front Kit NEO R lets you fit a suppressor directly to a Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 while adding a longer accessory rail underneath. SAS kits are a long-running Nine Ball favourite, and the NEO R is LayLax’s updated version.
LayLax is a long-established Japanese maker of airsoft parts, with sub-brands including Prometheus for internal upgrades, Nine Ball for gas pistol parts and First Factory for external and replacement parts.
How it works
LayLax explains that the NEO R mounts on a chassis rather than on the outer barrel. That means the weight of a suppressor is carried by the kit rather than the moving outer barrel, which LayLax says reduces its effect on the pistol’s blowback cycle. Muzzle attachments with a 14mm counter-clockwise thread can be fitted.
The under rail is longer than on the standard version, and LayLax says its grooves are designed to the Picatinny standard, which widens the choice of torches, lasers and other accessories you can fit.
Build
A retailer lists the kit as metal, in black, with a length of about 95mm and a weight of about 70g, and describes it as a drop-in fit that needs no modification. It keeps the Hi-Capa looking purposeful without adding much weight.

Care and maintenance
Keep the thread clean and check that any suppressor is tight before each game. Wipe the kit down after outdoor games, and check the mounting screws regularly. Lubricate the pistol’s slide rails with a little silicone oil.
If you are not confident working on your replica, have the part fitted by an experienced technician.
Who is it for?
It suits Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 owners who want to run a suppressor and a pistol light while keeping the blowback cycle crisp.
