The Nitro.Vo Aegis EZ is a lens protector that mounts on a standard 20mm rail in front of your optic. This is the small size. Its angled clear shield deflects BBs before they reach the lens, so less force hits the glass and your sight is far less likely to crack or chip.

Design
A UK retailer lists the Aegis EZ with a 1.5mm thick transparent polycarbonate shield and a reinforced polymer mount, which it says is about 45 percent lighter than conventional metal lens protectors. The shield is described as high clarity, so the reticle stays visible without noticeable distortion.
Because it is angled, the shield deflects BBs away rather than taking them square on. The small size is the compact option in the range, suited to smaller optics.
Using it
Mount the Aegis EZ on the rail directly in front of your optic, close enough that the shield covers the objective lens but not so close that it touches it. Check your sight picture with the protector fitted, and adjust the position if needed.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
