This Satellite work mat from LayLax is an oversized maintenance mat measuring 900mm x 450mm, made for stripping, cleaning and upgrading airsoft replicas. It gives you a dedicated surface to work on that protects your table and stops small parts from rolling away.

Why use a work mat
Airsoft replicas are full of small springs, pins and screws, and many of them are easy to lose on a hard table. A mat gives parts a surface where they stay put, helps protect the replica’s finish, and protects the furniture underneath from oil, grease and tools.
At 900mm x 450mm it is large enough to lay out a full-length rifle alongside its parts, so you can strip a gearbox or gas rifle and keep everything in order as you work.
Using it
Lay the mat on a flat, stable surface with good light. Work from one end to the other as you strip the replica, laying parts out in the order they came off, and take photos as you go. Keep oils and grease on a cloth or in a tray rather than directly on the mat where possible.

Care and maintenance
Wipe the mat clean after use with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before rolling or folding it away. Avoid harsh solvents, and store it flat or rolled, away from sharp tools that could cut the surface.
