Description
MOA Survival Scope 3-9×40 (20mm RIS & 11mm Mounts)
The MOA Survival Scope 3-9×40 is a rifle scope with variable 3x to 9x magnification and a 40mm objective lens, supplied with mounts for both 20mm RIS rails and 11mm dovetail rails. That means it can go onto a wide range of airsoft rifles as well as air rifles with a dovetail rail.
A 3-9×40 is one of the most popular scope sizes for good reason: turn it down to 3x for a wide view in woodland and up to 9x to pick out targets at range. It is a good-value choice for sniper rifles and marksman builds.
Using the zoom
Most players leave a variable scope at the lower end of its range for general play, as a wider view makes it easier to find targets and track movement. Turn up the magnification when you need to identify a target at distance or take a careful shot, then turn it back down.
Remember that airsoft BBs follow a curved path, so you will get the best results by zeroing the scope at the distance you most often shoot and learning where the BB lands at other ranges.
Mounting
Choose the mounts that match your rail, fit them loosely, then slide the scope forward or back until you can see a full, clear picture with your head in a natural position. Level the reticle and tighten the screws evenly.

Compatibility
The included mounts suit 20mm RIS, Picatinny and Weaver rails, and 11mm dovetail rails. Check that your rifle has enough rail length for the mounts, and that the scope clears the barrel and any front sight.
Care and maintenance
Keep the lens caps on, or cover the lenses, when the scope is not in use. Clean the lenses with a soft lens cloth or lens pen rather than your shirt, and blow off grit first so you do not scratch the coating. Check the mount screws before each game, and store the rifle somewhere dry.
Who is it for?
Players setting up a sniper rifle, DMR or scoped air rifle who want a good-value variable scope with mounts for both common rail types included.
