Description
Well WE09 Gas Magazine (38 Rounds – WE09-1GM)
This is a spare gas magazine for the Well WE09, Well’s AK-pattern gas blowback rifle. Holding around 38 rounds, it carries a little more than the 30 rounds typical of many gas rifle magazines, and it is the matching magazine for the WE09, so you can be confident it will fit and feed properly. Spare magazines are essential with any gas blowback rifle, as each magazine is both your ammunition supply and your gas supply.
With a few extra magazines filled and loaded in your pouches, you can stay in the game for longer, reload quickly with the familiar AK action and avoid stopping to refill in the middle of a fight.
Build and design
The magazine has a polymer outer shell with alloy internals and a steel spring. Polymer feed lips help deliver BBs reliably into the rifle. BBs are loaded through the top of the magazine, and the gas fill valve is located at the rear near the top. It fits the rifle with the traditional AK rock-and-lock method: hook the front of the magazine into the magwell, then rock it back until it locks into place.
Why spare magazines matter
A gas blowback rifle uses gas to cycle the bolt as well as to fire the BB, so a single magazine of gas gets used up as you shoot. Carrying spares means you always have a fresh, full magazine ready, and in cold weather you can swap to a magazine that has been kept warm in a pouch for better performance.

Care and maintenance
The magazine needs regular lubrication to keep its seals healthy. Put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and the gas release valve regularly. Do not overfill, and store the magazine with a little gas inside to keep the seals supple. Keep magazines clean and free of grit, especially around the feed lips, and check for leaks before each game. Gas pressure drops in cold weather, so keep spare magazines warm in a pouch or pocket on cold days.
Who is it for?
Owners of the Well WE09 who want more magazines for longer games, faster reloads and better performance in cold weather.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included, and the rifle is sold separately.
