Description
Pugna by Secutor A1 Rubber Axe (Tan)
The Pugna A1 from Secutor is a rubber axe in tan, with the styling of a modern tactical axe but without a sharp edge. It gives you the look and feel of a real tool for training, props and display, while being far safer to handle.
Rubber training replicas are widely used for drills, film and photography, cosplay and scenario events, where a real blade would be unsafe or simply not allowed. The A1 adds an extra piece of realism to a loadout or costume without the worries that come with carrying a genuine axe.
Uses
For training, a rubber axe lets you practise movement, carrying and handling safely. For photography, film and cosplay, it gives a convincing silhouette on camera and completes a tactical or survival-themed outfit. Many players also like to hang one from their kit for display at events and photo days.
If you want to carry or use it during an airsoft game, check your site’s rules first. Some sites allow approved rubber melee items under strict conditions and many do not, so always ask a marshal before play.
Build
The A1 is made from rubber, so there is no sharp edge or point. The tan colour suits coyote, desert and earth-tone loadouts and blends well with most modern tactical kit.

Compatibility
The A1 can be carried in a belt loop, hung from MOLLE webbing with a suitable strap or holder, or stowed in a pack. Check the fit of any holder you plan to use, as handle sizes vary between makes.
Care and maintenance
Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and mild soap after use, then let it dry naturally. Avoid solvents and harsh cleaners, which can damage rubber. Store it away from direct sunlight and heat, which can cause rubber to fade, soften or deform over time, and check it regularly for splits or tears, retiring it if it becomes damaged.
Who is it for?
The Pugna A1 suits cosplayers, photographers, film makers, collectors and players who want a safe, realistic-looking axe to complete a tactical or survival loadout.
Please note: Although it has no sharp edge, it is still a solid object; never strike anyone with it unless a site or organiser has specifically approved it for that use.
