Using a red dot
A red dot sight lets you aim quickly with both eyes open: place the dot on the target and squeeze the trigger. Because the dot appears in the same plane as the target, you do not need to line up front and rear sights, which makes target acquisition faster, particularly when moving or shooting at changing distances.
Turn the illumination up in bright sunshine and down in dark woodland or indoors, so the dot is clearly visible without blooming or hiding your target. Remember to switch it off after use to save the battery.
Zeroing
Mount the sight firmly on your rifle’s top rail and fire a few groups at a fixed distance, around 20 to 30 metres. Use the windage and elevation adjusters to move the dot onto your point of impact. Airsoft BBs follow a curved path that depends on your hop-up, so set the hop first and zero the sight after.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Keep the lenses clean with a soft lens cloth or brush, and avoid wiping grit across the glass. Fit a lens cover or protector if you play at close range, as BBs can crack or chip lenses, and check the mounting screws are tight before each game. Remove the battery if the sight will not be used for a while, and store it somewhere dry.
