Description
Saigo Defence 40mm Gas Grenade – 120 Rounds – Metal – Black
This Saigo Defence 40mm gas grenade is a metal shell for 40mm airsoft grenade launchers, holding 120 rounds. Load it with BBs and gas, fire it from your launcher and it releases the whole load in one burst, sending a wide spray of BBs downrange. That makes it ideal for clearing rooms, catching players behind low cover and suppressing a doorway while your team moves up.
The black finish gives it a discreet, realistic look that suits most loadouts. Saigo Defence also offers this shell in red and blue, so many grenadiers use different colours to tell shell types or loads apart, or simply to spot their own shells on the ground after a game.
Build and capacity
The shell is built from metal, giving it the strength to stand up to repeated loading, firing and handling in the field. Its 120 round capacity puts a large number of BBs into each shot, which helps the spread cover a wide area. A metal shell also has a solid, quality feel compared with lightweight plastic alternatives.
How it works
Fill the shell with gas through its valve and load it with 6mm BBs. When the shell is struck by your launcher’s firing pin, the stored gas is released in one go, pushing all of the BBs out of the shell together. The result is a shotgun-style blast that is especially effective in buildings and at close to medium range.

Compatibility
Designed for 40mm airsoft grenade launchers, such as M203, M320 and similar under-barrel and standalone launchers. Shell length and fit can vary between launcher brands, so check that the shell seats and fires correctly in your launcher before relying on it in a game. Use the gas type recommended by your launcher and shell, and good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and seals regularly. Do not overfill, and store the shell with a little gas inside to keep the seals supple. Keep it clean and free from mud and grit, and check for leaks before each game. Never leave a shell loaded in your launcher between games, and keep shells away from direct heat and strong sunlight.
Who is it for?
Grenadiers and anyone who runs a 40mm launcher and wants a sturdy, high-capacity shell to carry as their main round or a spare.
Please note: Gas, BBs and launcher are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules on grenade launchers before use.
