Scope Ranger 6x – 3–18×56 MOA Riflescope (30mm Tube, Illuminated Reticle)
This is a 3-18×56 variable magnification riflescope. It zooms from 3x to 18x, a 6x zoom range, and uses a 56mm objective lens.
With a 6x zoom range from 3x to 18x, a large 56mm objective lens, a 30mm main tube and an illuminated reticle, it is aimed squarely at sniper rifles and long-range builds.
Magnification and field of view
At 3x it is usable at medium range, while 18x gives a very close look at distant targets. The illuminated reticle helps the aiming point stand out against dark backgrounds such as dense woodland, and in low light at dawn, dusk or under heavy cloud.
Remember that higher magnification narrows your field of view and magnifies any wobble, so start at the low end of the range to find your target and zoom in only as far as you need. For most airsoft engagements a moderate setting gives the best balance between detail and awareness.
Setting it up
Mount the scope so that you can see a full, clear picture with your head in a natural position on the stock, then adjust the eyepiece focus until the reticle is sharp. Zero it at a typical engagement distance using the BB weight you normally play with, and remember that hop-up setting affects where BBs land, so set the hop-up first.

Compatibility
The scope fits any replica with a suitable rail once fitted with the right rings or mount, which may need to be bought separately. It has a 30mm main tube, so it needs 30mm scope rings. Most modern airsoft rifles use a 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail, while many spring and air rifles use a narrower dovetail rail, so make sure the rings match the rail on your replica. Choose a ring height that clears the barrel and any front sight.
Care and maintenance
Keep the lenses covered when the scope is not in use, and remove dust with a blower brush or soft lens brush before wiping with a microfibre lens cloth. Avoid touching the glass with your fingers and never use household cleaners on coated lenses.
Do not overtighten scope ring screws, as this can damage the tube; tighten them evenly and gradually. Store the scope in a dry place, and if it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature rather than on a heater.
Remove the illumination battery if the scope will not be used for some time, and switch the illumination off after each game to save power.
