The Sig Sauer MPX Sub-Machine Gun in black is a licensed electric replica of Sig Sauer’s compact 9mm MPX, a sub-machine gun widely used in close quarter and law enforcement roles. Built on a VFC Avalon Version 2 gearbox with electronic control, it brings the MPX’s distinctive profile to the airsoft field for players who want a short, handy and well-made primary.
Its compact length makes it easy to carry through buildings, vehicles and woodland, and it is well suited to CQB sites where manoeuvrability matters more than reach. Deep-engraved markings and an all-metal receiver give it an authentic look and a solid feel.
Performance and internals
The gearbox is a VFC Avalon Version 2 with ECS, featuring improved bearings, a quick-change spring system and a built-in MOSFET that protects the trigger contacts and sharpens trigger response. A high-torque neodymium long-type motor drives it, and a rotary-adjustable hop-up feeds a 168mm inner barrel. Semi and full-auto fire are available, with a safety.
Build and handling
The all-metal receiver is paired with an M-LOK handguard for mounting a torch, grip or laser where you want it. An ambidextrous charging handle with dual return springs and a functional bolt stop, along with an ambidextrous selector and magazine release, make the MPX comfortable for both right- and left-handed shooters. The five-position telescoping and folding stock adjusts the overall length between approximately 570mm and 635mm, and QD sling mounts on the stock make carrying easy. The replica weighs around 2.54kg.
Battery
The battery is housed in the handguard, accessed by detaching the barrel and handguard, and connects with a small Tamiya plug. An 11.1V LiPo in butterfly configuration is recommended.

Compatibility
Use MPX-specific AEG magazines. Battery: 11.1V LiPo, butterfly type, with a small Tamiya connector (or adaptor). The 14mm negative thread suits standard airsoft silencers and flash hiders, and the M-LOK handguard accepts standard M-LOK accessories. Uses 6mm BBs; 0.20g to 0.28g seamless BBs suit most players.
Care and maintenance
Always disconnect and remove the battery when the gun is not in use, and never store it connected. Charge batteries with a suitable charger, never leave them charging unattended, and store them at a sensible charge level in a cool, dry place. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, which protect the inner barrel and hop-up rubber, and clean the inner barrel occasionally with a cleaning rod and soft patch, especially if you notice accuracy dropping. Wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games, keep magazines clean and free of grit, and have the gearbox serviced by a competent technician if you notice changes in sound or performance.
