Description
Socom Gear M107 Magazine (10 Rounds – Black – M107-MAG-A001)
This is a spare 10-round magazine for the Socom Gear M107, Socom Gear part M107-MAG-A001, finished in black. Socom Gear’s officially licensed Barrett M107 is one of the most dramatic sniper replicas in airsoft: a huge, heavy shell-ejecting rifle where each round is loaded as a cartridge into the magazine and ejected when the charging handle is pulled back.
Because each shot uses its own cartridge, the magazine is central to how the rifle works. A spare one means you can carry an extra ten loaded rounds and reload quickly in the field, rather than refilling a single magazine between engagements.
How it works
The M107 replica uses metal cartridges that are loaded into this magazine, much like the real rifle. When you cycle the action, a cartridge is chambered and fired, and pulling back the charging handle ejects the spent case. The magazine casing is metal, built to cope with the weight and handling of the rifle.
Carrying a second loaded magazine gives you a fast reload and means you are not left searching for shells mid-game. Many owners also keep extra cartridges to fill every magazine they have.
Loading
Charge and load the cartridges as described in the rifle’s manual, then load them into the magazine with the cartridges facing the right way. Insert the magazine firmly until it locks, and check that it is seated before you cycle the action.
