The S&T M203 is an under-barrel 40mm grenade launcher replica for AR-15/M4-pattern airsoft rifles. This is the long-barrelled, lightweight polymer version (LWV) in black, built to give you the classic M203 look and a real extra capability on the field without adding much weight to the front of your rifle.
Launchers add a whole new dimension to a game, letting you clear positions, flush players out from behind cover and support your team with a burst of BBs. The M203 is the most recognisable under-barrel launcher of all, and the S&T lightweight version is a practical and affordable way to add one to your setup.
Build and mounting
The launcher is made from strong polymer, which keeps the weight down so your rifle stays well balanced and comfortable to carry. It is designed to attach to the barrel of most standard AR-15/M4-pattern rifles with a standard handguard, or to a split Picatinny handguard such as RIS II or Mk18-style rails.
The long barrel suits full-length and mid-length rifle handguards and gives the classic full-size M203 profile. Check that there is enough clear barrel or rail length under your handguard before ordering.
How it works
To load, press the tab on the left side and slide the barrel tube forward, insert a 40mm shell, then slide the tube back to the rear until it locks. Pull the trigger to fire the shell. A working safety catch sits just in front of the trigger, so the launcher can be carried safely when loaded.
The launcher itself has no power source; the shell does the work. Gas-charged 40mm shells fire a shower of BBs at short range, which is ideal for clearing rooms and corners or making opponents keep their heads down.
Using it on the field
Treat the launcher as a support tool: a well-placed shell into a bunker or doorway can change a game. Practise loading so you can do it smoothly without looking, and carry shells in dedicated 40mm pouches so they are quick to reach.

Care and maintenance
The launcher itself needs little looking after. Wipe it down after use, keep the barrel tube clear of dirt and debris, and check that the mounting is tight before each game, since a launcher that works loose on the barrel will rattle and can affect your rifle’s zero.
For gas shells, use only gas made for airsoft replicas, do not overfill them, and put a drop of silicone oil on the shell seals now and then. Store shells with a little gas in to keep the seals seated.
Avoid petroleum-based oils and solvents on polymer parts; a damp cloth is all the outside needs.
