Description
Tag Innovations Hornet M2 5.0 Second (Pack of 10 – KC Version)
The TAGinn Hornet M2 is a launchable sound projectile from Tag Innovations, supplied in a pack of 10 in the KC (Kick Charge) version. Fired from a TAGinn launcher, it flies downrange and then goes off with a loud report after a 5.0-second delay, adding noise, pressure and realism to airsoft games and training scenarios.
Tag Innovations, usually known as TAGinn, is a specialist in airsoft pyrotechnics and launchers, and its launchable projectiles are a popular way of bringing indirect fire and room-clearing effects into a game. The 5.0-second delay on this version gives extra flight time before it goes off, which suits engaging positions at longer range.
How it works
The projectile is loaded into a compatible TAGinn launcher and fired. The 5.0-second delay gives it time to travel before it goes off, so you can put a loud bang behind cover, into a building or onto an objective from a safe distance. Use it to flush out a dug-in position, cover an advance, or simulate incoming fire during a scenario.
Using it in a game
Different sites have different rules on how launched pyrotechnics count, so check before you play: some treat a sound projectile as a grenade hit within a radius, others use it purely for effect. Always launch at a safe angle, away from other players, and be aware of where the projectile is likely to land.

Designed for TAGinn launching devices, such as the TAG-ML36. KC (Kick Charge) projectiles are made for TAGinn’s KC-compatible launchers, so check that your launcher accepts this type before ordering. Not intended for use with other makes of 40mm launcher unless TAGinn states they are compatible.
Care and maintenance
Store projectiles in their packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Do not use any projectile that is damaged, damp or has been dropped onto a hard surface hard enough to deform it. Carry them in a pouch that protects them from knocks, and keep your launcher clean and dry so they load and fire consistently. Dispose of used and failed items in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and your site’s rules.
Who is it for?
Grenadiers and players with a TAGinn launcher who want a loud, realistic sound effect at range, and organisers running scenario or training games.
Please note: Pyrotechnic item. The launcher is not included. Always follow your site’s rules on pyrotechnics, wear suitable eye and ear protection, and never fire projectiles directly at other players.
