Description
Tag Innovations Sound Hand Grenade (2 Second – Pack of 6 – FBG-6)
The Tag Innovations FBG-6 is a sound (stun) hand grenade for airsoft, supplied here as a pack of six. It is designed to simulate a flash-bang in game scenarios, producing a loud report to grab the attention of opposing players as you push into a room or building. This version has a 2-second delay, which suits fast CQB play where you want the grenade to go off quickly once thrown.
Tag Innovations (TAGinn) is a specialist airsoft pyrotechnics brand, and the FBG-6 is one of its best-known products. It is popular for hostage rescue and room-clearing scenarios, and many sites also accept it as a frag grenade simulator where BB-throwing grenades are not allowed.
How it works
The FBG-6 is initiated by the safety lever, not just by the pin. Pulling the pin on its own does not set it off; the delay starts when the safety lever is released as the grenade is thrown. With this 2-second version, the grenade goes off two seconds after the lever is released, so throw it as soon as you have released your grip.
The body is made from a soft polyurethane material, which is much safer on the field than a hard casing. Even so, it should always be treated as pyrotechnics and handled with care.
Using it in game
Stun grenades work best when used as part of a plan: one player throws, the team waits for the bang and then moves in while opponents are distracted. Agree with your team and the marshals how hits from grenades are counted at your site, as rules vary. Six grenades in a pack means enough for a full day of scenario play, or to share between a small team.

Compatibility
The FBG-6 is a hand-thrown grenade and does not need a launcher. It is only for use at airsoft sites that permit pyrotechnics; always check your site’s rules on pyro, where it may be used and how hits are counted before bringing it to a game.
Care and maintenance
Store pyrotechnics in their original packaging in a cool, dry place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and keep them out of reach of children. Do not attempt to open, modify or repair a grenade, and do not use one that is damaged, wet or has a bent lever. If a grenade fails to go off, leave it where it landed, wait well beyond the delay time and tell a marshal; never pick it up straight away.
Transport them in a sturdy container so the levers and pins cannot be knocked out by accident.
Who is it for?
Airsoft players who play CQB or scenario games at sites that allow pyro, and who want a dependable stun grenade for clearing rooms and creating a distraction.
Please note: Always wear full-seal eye protection, face protection and gloves when using pyrotechnics, and only use them at an official game site that permits them. Never throw a grenade directly at another player.
