Description
Tag Innovations (x10) “Master Key” – Buckshot round (MK)
The Tag Innovations “Master Key” is a buckshot-style projectile round made for TAG Innovations launcher systems, and this pack contains ten rounds. As the name suggests, it is intended to give a spread of shot rather than a single projectile, making it a good choice for clearing a doorway or corridor, or engaging a group of players at shorter range.
TAG Innovations (also known as TAGinn) makes airsoft launcher systems, launching devices and projectile rounds, including shell launching devices designed to fit 40mm-style grenade launchers such as 203-type launchers. Their launchable rounds are designed to work together with their own shell launching devices, so buying a pack of ten gives you enough to use through a full game day and to practise with beforehand.
How it is used
Master Key rounds are fired from a compatible TAG Innovations launching device fitted in a 40mm-style launcher. Load the round, aim as you would with any launcher, and fire; the round then delivers its buckshot effect downrange. Because launchers and shells vary, always follow the instructions supplied with your TAG Innovations launching device for loading, gas filling and safe handling.
Practise with a few rounds before a game so you understand the range, spread and trajectory, and always check that your site allows launchable rounds of this type before bringing them along.
On the field
A buckshot-type round is a useful tool for grenadiers and support players, particularly in close-quarters buildings and urban areas where a single, well-placed shot can affect several players at once. Many teams carry a small number of rounds per grenadier, so a pack of ten covers a good day’s play.
