Description
Tectonic Innovations Quake 8 Way Grenade (Cyan)
The cyan Quake 8 Way from Tectonic Innovations is a reusable, impact-activated airsoft grenade. There is no pin to pull: it fires a primer the instant any part of it hits a surface, and its multi-shot base gives eight throws before reloading.
Tectonic Innovations designs reusable grenades for players who want reliable room clearing every game without the ongoing cost of single-use pyro. The Quake’s stainless steel and aluminium body is made to take repeated impacts on hard surfaces.
How it works
The Quake is an impact grenade, so it fires as soon as any part of it hits a hard surface. A stainless steel plunger at the top is driven into the firing pin on impact, and the pin strikes a primer in the base to give a loud bang. There is no delay and no pin to pull, which makes it ideal for clearing rooms quickly.
Its multi-shot base has eight positions. Once a primer has been used, rotate the base to the next one and the grenade is ready to throw again, giving eight throws per loading. When all eight have gone, unscrew the base, swap the spent primers for fresh ones and you are set for another eight.
Build and materials
The Quake 8 Way is made from stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminium, so it is strong enough to be thrown onto concrete, wooden floors and hard ground again and again. At around 40 x 40 x 125mm it is compact enough to carry in a grenade or utility pouch on your rig.
The bright cyan finish is easy to spot in buildings and on the ground, so you are less likely to leave it behind at the end of a round.

Compatibility
The Quake 8 Way uses .209 (6mm) primers. Primers are not listed as included, so make sure you have a supply before your game day. Check your site’s rules on pyrotechnics and impact grenades before use: many sites allow them, but some limit their use indoors or set minimum throwing distances.
Care and maintenance
After a game, remove the spent primers and check the base and firing pin for dirt or residue. Wipe the grenade clean and dry, especially after wet or muddy games, keep the threads of the base clean so it screws on smoothly, and store it unloaded.
Store primers separately in their original packaging, somewhere cool and dry. Treat a loaded grenade with care, as it is designed to go off when it hits a hard surface.
Who is it for?
CQB players and regular grenadiers who want a durable reusable impact grenade in a bright, easy-to-find cyan finish.
Please note: Always wear full-seal eye protection when using grenades, and follow your site’s rules on pyrotechnics and primers.
