Description
Tectonic Innovations Quake 8 Way Grenade (Grey)
The Tectonic Innovations Quake 8 Way is a reusable, impact-activated sound grenade, made in the UK and finished here in grey. Throw it and, as soon as any part of it strikes a surface, it fires a primer with a sharp bang. Its multi-shot base holds eight primers, so one loading gives you eight throws before you need to reload.
Tectonic Innovations is a UK maker known for durable, reusable airsoft grenades. Because the Quake is built to last, it can replace a large number of single-use pyro over its life, and it is a popular choice for CQB players who want reliable room-clearing grenades game after game.
How it works
At the top of the grenade is a stainless steel plunger. On impact the plunger drives a firing pin into a .209 primer held in the base, producing a loud report. After each throw you twist the base to bring the next primer into line, ready to go again. Reloading is simple: unscrew the base, drop fresh primers into the eight apertures and screw it back on.
Build and materials
The Quake is made from stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminium, with an aluminium-alloy multi-shot base. That gives it the strength to be thrown onto concrete, wood and hard floors repeatedly. The grey finish is understated and easy to match with most kit, though it can be harder to spot on the ground than brighter colours, so keep an eye on where it lands.

Compatibility
The Quake 8 Way uses standard .209 shotgun primers, which are sold separately. Check your site’s rules on pyrotechnics and impact grenades before use; many sites allow them, but some restrict their use indoors or set minimum throwing distances.
Care and maintenance
After each game, remove spent primers and check the base and firing pin for debris. Wipe the grenade clean and dry, particularly after wet or muddy games, and store it unloaded. Store primers separately in their original packaging, somewhere cool and dry. Never point the grenade at anyone or handle a loaded grenade carelessly, as an impact can fire it.
Who is it for?
For CQB and woodland players who use grenades regularly and want a robust, reusable alternative to single-use pyro, with eight throws per loading.
Please note: primers are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and treat a loaded grenade with care.
