Description
Tectonic Innovations Quake 8 Way Grenade (Orange)
The Tectonic Innovations Quake 8 Way in orange is a reusable impact grenade. It needs no pin pulling or timing: as soon as any part of it hits a surface it fires a primer with a sharp report, and its eight-position base gives eight throws per loading.
Tectonic Innovations is a respected name in reusable airsoft grenades, and the Quake’s stainless steel and aluminium build is designed to keep working game after game. For players who use grenades regularly, it is far more economical over time than single-use pyro.
How it works
The Quake is an impact grenade, so it fires as soon as any part of it hits a hard surface. A stainless steel plunger at the top is driven into the firing pin on impact, and the pin strikes a primer in the base to give a loud bang. There is no delay and no pin to pull, which makes it ideal for clearing rooms quickly.
Its multi-shot base has eight positions. Once a primer has been used, rotate the base to the next one and the grenade is ready to throw again, giving eight throws per loading. When all eight have gone, unscrew the base, swap the spent primers for fresh ones and you are set for another eight.
Build and materials
The Quake 8 Way is made from stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminium, so it is strong enough to be thrown onto concrete, wooden floors and hard ground again and again. At around 40 x 40 x 125mm it is compact enough to carry in a grenade or utility pouch on your rig.
The orange finish is bright and easy to see, which makes the grenade simple to find after a throw and easy to tell apart from your teammates’ grenades.

Compatibility
The Quake 8 Way uses .209 (6mm) primers. Primers are not listed as included, so make sure you have a supply before your game day. Check your site’s rules on pyrotechnics and impact grenades before use: many sites allow them, but some limit their use indoors or set minimum throwing distances.
Care and maintenance
Unload the grenade at the end of each day and wipe off any residue from the primers. Make sure it is completely dry before you put it away, and keep the base threads free of grit.
Keep primers in their own packaging away from the grenade, in a cool, dry place. Never throw a loaded grenade carelessly or drop it onto a hard floor when you are not in play.
Who is it for?
CQB players and grenadiers who want a reusable impact grenade in a bright orange finish that is easy to locate after use.
Please note: Always wear full-seal eye protection when using grenades, and follow your site’s rules on pyrotechnics and primers.
