Description
Tokyo Marui H45 Magazine Lip Seal
This is a replacement magazine lip seal for the Tokyo Marui H45 gas blowback pistol. The lip seal is the small rubber gasket on top of the magazine that seals the gas route between the magazine outlet valve and the pistol. When it is worn, split or missing, gas escapes at the join instead of driving the BB and the slide.
Tokyo Marui pistols are known for their consistency, and a fresh seal is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to keep an H45 magazine performing as it should. It is also a useful spare to keep in your kit, as these seals can be lost or damaged when cleaning.
Signs you need a new seal
Common symptoms of a tired lip seal include weak or inconsistent shots, sluggish blowback, a hiss of gas at the top of the magazine when firing, and frost forming around the join between magazine and pistol.
Seals harden with age and can crack if a magazine is stored empty for long periods. A replacement brings back a proper seal and helps the magazine use its gas efficiently.
Fitting
Empty the magazine of gas completely before working on it. Remove the old seal carefully, clean the seat, and press the new seal into place so it sits flat and evenly. A small drop of silicone oil helps it seat and keeps the rubber supple.

Care and maintenance
Keep gas pistol magazines topped up with a small amount of gas when stored, as this keeps the seals swollen and helps prevent leaks. A drop of silicone oil on the magazine valve and seals every few fills keeps rubber parts supple.
Never overfill a magazine, avoid charging it while it is very cold, and wipe away dirt before inserting it. Store the pistol and magazines in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Who is it for?
For Tokyo Marui H45 owners whose magazines leak at the top or have lost performance, and for anyone keeping spares for regular gas pistol maintenance.
Please note: Magazine and gas are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when testing a replica.
