Tokyo Marui USP Compact Magazine Lip (GBB1-51)
This is a genuine Tokyo Marui replacement magazine lip, part number GBB1-51, for the magazine of the Tokyo Marui USP Compact gas blowback pistol. The magazine lip is the small part at the top of the magazine that holds the BB stack in place and presents the top BB to the loading nozzle each time the slide cycles.

Why replace the magazine lip?
The lip takes a lot of wear. Every shot pushes a BB past it, and drops, knocks and dirty BBs can crack, chip or spread it over time. A worn lip can let BBs spill out of the top of the magazine, cause double feeds or leave the pistol firing without a BB, even when the gas side of the magazine is working perfectly.

Care and maintenance
Keep magazines clean and use good quality seamless BBs, as dirty or poorly made BBs are a common cause of wear and misfeeds. Wipe the top of the magazine clean after games, and do not drop loaded magazines onto hard surfaces.
Store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight, and put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and gas route seal from time to time.
