The UFC 1×24 Reflex Reddot is a black, compact reflex sight with no magnification (1x) and a 24mm lens. A reflex sight projects an illuminated dot onto the lens, so you can aim quickly with both eyes open and keep track of what is going on around you, which is why red dots are the most popular sight in airsoft.

Why use a red dot
With iron sights you must line up a rear and front sight with the target. With a red dot you simply place the dot on the target, which is quicker and easier, especially under pressure, in poor light or when shooting from awkward positions. Because there is no magnification, you keep your full field of view, which is ideal for CQB and woodland games.
Setting up
Mount the sight on your top rail at a comfortable distance from your eye. Set the dot brightness just high enough to see clearly against your background; too bright a dot can bloom and hide the target. Then zero the dot to your hop-up setting and preferred BB weight by firing groups at a fixed target and adjusting the windage and elevation controls.

Care and maintenance
Turn the sight off after use and remove the battery for long-term storage. Clean the lens only with a lens brush and microfibre cloth. A lens protector or killflash can protect the glass from BB hits. Check the mount is tight before each game.
