UFC 8-32×50 SF Illumination Scope (Tan)
This is the tan version of UFC’s 8-32×50 SF Illumination Scope: a long, high-power rifle scope with variable magnification from 8x to 32x, a 50mm objective lens and an illuminated reticle. The tan finish suits desert, coyote and multicam-style sniper builds, where a black scope would stand out.
UFC makes affordable replica optics and mounts for airsoft. Using the magnification
Because the zoom starts at 8x, the field of view is narrow even at the lowest setting. That makes the scope better suited to deliberate, long-range shooting and observation than to snap shots at close range. Typical airsoft engagement ranges are short compared with real firearms, so many players shoot at the lower end of the range and use the higher settings to pick out targets in cover. The 50mm objective lets in plenty of light, which keeps the image brighter at high magnification.
Side focus and illuminated reticle
The “SF” in the name usually means a side-focus dial, which is turned to bring the target into sharp focus at different distances; check the product images for the controls on this unit. Illumination lights up the reticle so it is easier to see against dark backgrounds, such as deep woodland or dusk. Start at a low brightness setting and only turn it up if you need to.

Compatibility
The tube diameter and whether rings are supplied are not stated on our listing, so please check the product images. You will need rings or a mount that suit the scope tube and your replica’s rail, which on most airsoft rifles is a 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail. Make sure there is enough rail length to place the scope at a comfortable eye relief. The illumination is battery powered; check the battery type in its compartment.
Care and maintenance
Fit the lens caps whenever the scope is not in use and clean the glass only with a lens brush and microfibre cloth. Take the illumination battery out if the scope will be stored for a while. Before each game, check that ring and mount screws are tight. A padded case helps protect both the scope and its zero.
