WE Charger for NiMH 6-8 Cells Series (Compact)
This is a compact battery charger from WE for NiMH airsoft batteries with between six and eight cells. In everyday terms, NiMH cells are 1.2V each, so a six to eight cell pack covers the common 7.2V, 8.4V and 9.6V batteries used in a great many AEGs. A dedicated charger is the safe, reliable way to keep those packs topped up between games.
WE is a long-established Taiwanese airsoft manufacturer best known for gas blowback replicas, and this compact charger is a simple, no-fuss option for players who run NiMH batteries and want something small enough to keep in a kit bag or on the workbench.
How it works
You connect the battery to the charger’s output lead and plug the charger in. A charger for a set number of cells is designed to supply the right charging voltage for packs in that range. Because the charger is sold for NiMH packs only, it must not be used on LiPo, LiFe or Li-ion batteries, which need a different charging method and a balance charger.
Getting the best from NiMH batteries
NiMH batteries are tough and forgiving, but they do get warm when fully charged and can lose capacity if they are repeatedly overcharged. Remove the battery once it is charged, let a hot battery cool before using or recharging it, and avoid leaving packs connected to a charger for long periods. Fully using up and recharging a NiMH pack from time to time can also help it keep its capacity.

Compatibility
For NiMH batteries with 6, 7 or 8 cells. Check the output connector against your battery’s connector before ordering, as you may need an adapter lead, and check the charger’s plug and input voltage on the label or photos before use. Not for LiPo, LiFe or Li-ion batteries.
Care and maintenance
Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface away from soft furnishings, and never leave a battery charging unattended. Keep the charger dry and its leads untangled, and check cables and plugs for damage before every use. Unplug the charger from the mains when you are finished.
