Description
Xcortech X3300W Advanced BB Control System (Tan)
The Xcortech X3300W Advanced BB Control System is a combined tracer, chronograph, BB counter and battery monitor for airsoft AEGs, shown here in tan. It is made up of three parts: a tracer unit styled as a mock suppressor with a built-in sensor, a PEQ-box style control and display unit, and a programmable SCU that plugs in-line with the battery.
Xcortech is known for its airsoft tracers and chronographs, and the X3300W brings these functions together into one system that talks wirelessly between the muzzle and the control box. It is aimed at players who want real-time information about their rifle during a game.
What it measures
The tracer’s sensor measures muzzle velocity in FPS and MPS and rate of fire in RPM, and the results appear on the control box’s digital display. That means you can check your rifle’s performance at any time without a separate chronograph.
The system also includes a programmable BB counter that counts up or down, shows an estimate of remaining ammunition and warns you when you are running low. Real-time battery level monitoring warns you when your AEG battery needs charging.
The SCU and fire control
The SCU sits between the battery and the rifle. As well as sending battery level information to the display, it protects against voltage drops and allows burst fire to be set from 2 to 10 rounds, or full auto. The SCU has an 8-channel memory for saved settings.
Settings are programmed through the PEQ-style control box, which also has display brightness controls and power-saving, standby and auto power-off modes to conserve batteries.
Tracer unit
The tracer is built from aluminium with a high-efficiency circuit and lights up BBs as they leave the muzzle, which is particularly effective with glow-in-the-dark BBs in low light. It fits a standard 14mm negative (anti-clockwise) thread.

What’s in the box
- Tracer unit (mock suppressor with sensor)
- PEQ-style BB control box
- Programmable SCU
Compatibility
The tracer fits replicas with a standard 14mm negative (anti-clockwise) muzzle thread; replicas with a positive thread will need an adaptor. The control box mounts on a 20mm Picatinny or Weaver rail. The SCU and burst functions are designed for AEGs, as the SCU connects in-line with the AEG battery, so check that your rifle’s battery connector arrangement is suitable before fitting.
Care and maintenance
Remove the batteries from the tracer and control box if the system will not be used for a while, to prevent leaks. Keep the tracer’s sensor and bore clean with a soft brush or a dry patch, as dirt can affect readings.
Disconnect the AEG battery before connecting or removing the SCU. Avoid exposing the electronics to heavy rain, and dry the units thoroughly if they get wet. Check that the tracer is screwed on straight and firmly before each game.
Who is it for?
For AEG players who want velocity, rate of fire, ammunition and battery information at a glance, along with tracer capability for night and indoor games. It suits both tech-minded players and anyone who wants to keep an eye on their rifle’s performance during a long day.
Please note: Batteries for the tracer (AAA) and control box (AA) are not stated as included. Always chronograph your rifle with your site’s own equipment as required, and wear suitable eye protection.
