Z-Parts ERAZ Gas Grenade (100 Rounds – Green)
The Z-Parts ERAZ is a reusable, gas-powered airsoft impact grenade, supplied here in green. It holds approximately 100 BBs and runs on standard airsoft green gas. Pull the pin and throw it: when it strikes a hard surface the mechanism triggers, the gas is released and the grenade spins as it sprays BBs out in all directions, covering a room, a corner or the area behind a barricade.
Unlike pyrotechnic grenades, the ERAZ uses no primers or consumable charges, so the only running costs are gas and BBs. It is lightweight, simple to load and quick to reset, which makes it a practical choice for players who want a grenade they can use game after game. The green finish blends in reasonably well on woodland sites while still being visible enough to pick up from the leaf litter once the area is clear.
How it works
The ERAZ is kinetically triggered. With the safety pin removed, the internal mechanism is released when the grenade hits a hard surface such as a floor, wall or wooden barricade. The escaping gas pushes the BBs out through the ports around the body and, at the same time, makes the grenade rotate, so the BBs are spread through 360 degrees rather than in a single direction.
Because it relies on impact, it works best when thrown or dropped onto a firm surface. Soft ground, deep mud or thick undergrowth can cushion the impact, so on woodland sites aim for a path, a board or the base of a tree where possible.
Loading and resetting
Preparing the grenade takes only a minute. Insert the safety pin, fill the grenade with green gas through its fill valve (the same type of valve used on gas magazines) and then load BBs through the side filling port using a speed loader. It is then ready to carry until you need it.
After use, press the reset button, refit the safety pin, refill with gas and reload with BBs. There are no spent parts to replace, so the same grenade can be used over and over again throughout the day.
Build and carrying
The body is a one-piece, heavy-duty polymer construction with a hex pattern moulded into the surface for grip, even with gloves on. At roughly 8.8cm tall and well under 150g, it is light enough to carry several on a belt or plate carrier, and it fits a standard 40mm grenade pouch.

Compatibility
Uses standard 6mm airsoft BBs and standard airsoft green gas. Do not use CO2. The ERAZ fits a standard 40mm grenade pouch, so it can be carried in most pouches designed for 40mm shells.
A BB speed loader makes loading through the side port much quicker. Always check your site rules on grenades before play, as some sites limit their use or restrict where they can be thrown.
Care and maintenance
Point the grenade away from yourself and others while loading and resetting, and keep the pin fitted until you mean to throw. Do not overfill with gas.
Wipe off mud and grit after each game and check the ports are clear. From time to time, place a drop or two of silicone oil on the gas fill valve and its O-ring to keep the seal supple. Store it clean and dry, and avoid dismantling the grenade, as this can affect the warranty.
