Description
SRC MP41 AEG Blowback (Steel and Wood – GE-0641TM III)
The SRC MP41 is an electric replica of the Second World War MP41, the sub-machine gun that combined the MP40’s action with a traditional wooden rifle-style stock. SRC’s version (GE-0641TM III) uses steel and wood to recreate that classic look and adds electric blowback, so the bolt moves as you fire for a little extra realism.
The MP41 is a popular choice for WWII reenactment and milsim events, where players want an authentic-looking German sub-machine gun that is a little different from the more common MP40. SRC is a Taiwanese maker with long experience of historical replicas, and its MP40 and MP41 family is well established.
Build and design
The receiver is steel-stamped with a metal barrel, and the stock and furniture are wood. The full wooden stock gives a rifle-like hold that many players find steadier than the MP40’s folding stock. As listed for SRC’s MP41, the overall length is about 850mm and the weight about 3.1kg.
The look is deliberately period-correct, so there are no modern rails. Fit a sling to the traditional sling points and the MP41 is comfortable to carry through a long reenactment day.
Internals and performance
SRC lists a full metal gearbox with 8mm bearings and steel gears for its MP41, a 230mm tight-bore inner barrel and an adjustable full metal hop-up. Electric blowback gives visible bolt movement with each shot. Fire modes are safe, semi-auto and full-auto.
The magazine is a wind-up type listed at 280 rounds. SRC’s MP41 listings specify an 8.4V mini-type battery housed in the receiver; please confirm the battery space before ordering.
Getting started
Before your first game, charge your battery fully on a suitable charger, fit it and check the rifle fires on safe, semi and auto as expected. Set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB holds a straight, flat line, and then check where it lands at the distances you usually shoot.
Your site will chronograph the rifle before play. Spend a few minutes learning how to change the battery and clear a jam so you are not doing it for the first time mid-game.

SRC uses its own gearbox design, so check that internal parts are listed for this model. Choose a mini-type battery that fits the receiver space and has the right connector.
Care and maintenance
Unplug and remove the battery after use, store LiPos in a fire-safe bag, and charge them on a balance charger you are watching. Keep the inner barrel clean with a rod and patch, because a dirty barrel or hop-up rubber is the most common cause of poor grouping.
Use good quality, polished BBs and avoid reusing BBs picked up from the floor. Keep the rifle dry, check all external screws now and then, and leave internal servicing to someone who knows AEGs well.
Who is it for?
The MP41 suits WWII reenactors, milsim players and collectors who want a period-correct German sub-machine gun with steel and wood construction.
Please note: A battery and charger are not named in this listing, so please check with us before ordering. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using or testing any airsoft replica, and have it chronographed at your site before play.
