Description

G&G ARP9 AEG with 5″ M-Lock Rail (Gold – EGC-ARP-GLD-YNB-NCM)

The G&G ARP9 is a compact 9mm-style AR carbine AEG, and this version has a 5-inch M-LOK rail and a gold finish, G&G code EGC-ARP-GLD-YNB-NCM. With its short handguard and low-profile sliding stock, the ARP9 is one of the most popular CQB rifles in airsoft, and the gold finish makes this one impossible to miss.

G&G Armament is a long-established manufacturer with a strong reputation for reliable, well-specified AEGs. The ARP9 brings G&G’s electronic trigger technology to a light, handy platform that suits indoor games, fast-moving woodland play and players who want a compact rifle that is easy to carry all day.

Build and design

The ARP9 is styled on a 9mm AR pistol-calibre carbine, with a slim receiver, a 5-inch M-LOK handguard and a mil-spec top rail for optics. The GOS-V5 sliding stock is low profile in the PDW style, so the rifle stays short and handy in buildings. Front and rear folding iron sights, a flat trigger, an extended trigger guard and an ergonomic grip complete the package.

Ambidextrous controls, including an extended ambidextrous magazine release, make it easy to run from either shoulder, and the rear sling loop suits single-point slings.

Electronics and performance

G&G fits an electronic trigger unit (ETU) that sharpens trigger response and helps prevent trigger contact wear during rapid semi-auto fire. The programmable MOSFET switches between full auto and three-round burst, so you can set the rifle up the way you like to play. The rotary hop-up is easy to adjust, and the 14mm counter-clockwise threaded outer barrel takes a mock suppressor or flash hider.

The ARP9 is designed to run on an 11.1V LiPo battery, which gives a crisp trigger response. Check the battery space before ordering, as the compact layout limits battery size.

Getting started

Fully charge a suitable battery before first use, then fit it as described in the manual and connect it carefully. Load a magazine, wind it if it is a high-capacity type, and start with the hop-up turned off. Fire a few shots at a safe target and add hop a little at a time until the BBs fly flat without rising at the end of their flight.

Have the rifle chronographed at your site before you play, and keep a note of the hop setting that suits your favourite BB weight so you can return to it quickly.

Key features

  • Compact 9mm-style AR carbine AEG
  • 5-inch M-LOK handguard

  • Electronic trigger unit (ETU)

  • 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel
  • GOS-V5 sliding low-profile stock

Compatibility

Use G&G ARP9 magazines, available separately. The ARP9 is designed for 11.1V LiPo batteries; choose a compact pack that fits the battery space, and ask us if you are unsure. The M-LOK handguard takes standard M-LOK accessories, the top rail takes standard optics mounts, and the 14mm CCW thread fits common airsoft muzzle devices.

Care and maintenance

Take the battery out after every game and store it away from the rifle, and charge LiPo batteries only on a proper balance charger under supervision. Clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and a dry patch every few games, as dirt and broken BB fragments are the main causes of flyers. Stick to good quality seamless BBs of a consistent weight.

Check screws, the muzzle device and any mounts before each game day, and store the rifle somewhere dry. If the rifle has an electronic trigger unit, a well-charged battery helps it read the trigger cleanly.

Who is it for?

CQB and woodland players who want a light, handy, electronically triggered carbine with a finish that really stands out, and collectors of G&G’s special colour editions.

Please note: Battery and charger are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
