The Maple Leaf 6.02 AEG Inner Barrel 229mm is an inner-barrel option for servicing or configuring a compatible airsoft replica. Its 229mm length is an important part of the fit: match it to the hop unit and outer-barrel assembly rather than choosing purely by replica appearance. The listed 6.02mm bore also distinguishes this version from other barrel specifications.
Installation and compatibility
Check the hop window, retaining grooves and hop-rubber arrangement against the original barrel. A matching length does not guarantee that an AEG, gas or spring-rifle barrel will interchange. Fit the barrel without twisting the hop rubber and make sure the assembly sits securely. If you are uncertain about the correct format, compare the removed part or have the work carried out by an experienced airsoft technician.
Setting up after fitting
Use clean, good-quality BBs and keep the bore free of dirt. Clean using an appropriate rod and soft material, following the replica’s maintenance instructions. Avoid oil on the hop rubber or BB-contact surfaces. After fitting, recheck hop adjustment, feeding and muzzle energy with your usual BB weight; a barrel change does not guarantee a particular range or power increase.
