A Deadly Customs leg and thigh strap in tan, designed for mid-ride holsters and similar belt-mounted rigs. It wraps around your thigh to hold the holster steady, stopping it swinging, bouncing or rotating away from your leg as you run, crouch and move between cover.

Why use a leg strap
Mid-ride holsters sit a little below the belt, which makes for a comfortable, natural draw, especially when wearing plate carriers or chest rigs that get in the way of a high belt holster. The drawback is that the lower the holster sits, the more it can swing. A leg strap anchors the bottom of the holster to your thigh, so it stays in the same place every time you reach for it.
A consistent holster position gives a consistent draw, which matters when you need your sidearm quickly. It also stops the holster knocking against barricades and prevents the pistol grip moving out of reach as you move.
Setting it up
Attach the strap to your holster or drop platform, then fasten it around your thigh snugly enough to stop movement but not so tight that it restricts your stride or circulation. Run, kneel and crouch in your full kit before a game to check the position, and adjust until it feels natural.

Care and maintenance
Brush off mud once it has dried, and if needed hand wash the strap in lukewarm water with mild soap, then let it air dry away from direct heat. Check stitching, buckles and fastenings periodically for wear, and replace the strap if it starts to fail.
