Description
Army Armament Hi-Capa 5.1 Gas Blowback Pistol (R608, Blue)
The R608 is Army Armament’s Combat XL Hi-Capa, a full-size gas blowback pistol with a ported slide and long outer barrel. It is built to the popular Hi-Capa pattern and this version comes in a blue two-tone finish.
Build and performance
The slide, outer barrel, frame and controls are alloy, with a polymer pistol grip. It runs on green gas in semi-automatic, with a 6.08mm, 120mm inner barrel and a gear-type hop-up adjuster that you reach by removing the slide. Safety features include a trigger lock, grip safety and ambidextrous manual safety. A 20mm rail under the frame takes a torch or laser, and the outer barrel has a 12mm clockwise female thread.

Good to know
Run it on a good-quality green gas made for airsoft, never lighter fluid or butane, and keep the magazine lips and seals lightly lubricated with silicone oil. Gas pistols lose some efficiency in cold weather, so warm the magazine in your hand or a pocket on chilly days. A 0.25g BB is a good starting weight. This is a two-tone, blue-coloured version, so it is not a realistic imitation firearm and can be bought without a UKARA defence, although buyers must still be 18 or over. Always wear eye protection and check your site’s power limits before playing.
