Description
WE 17 Series Gen 5 Gas Blowback Pistol (Tan)
WE’s 17 Series Gen 5 is a gas blowback replica of the fifth-generation G17 polymer-framed service pistol. This version pairs a tan polymer frame with a metal slide, and it includes the Gen 5 details such as the smooth front strap and ambidextrous slide stop.
Build and performance
The frame is tan polymer with a textured grip and swappable backstraps, while the slide is metal for a solid, weighty recoil. It runs on green gas in semi-automatic, with an adjustable hop-up and a 97mm inner barrel. An accessory rail ahead of the trigger guard takes a torch or laser, and the pistol also accepts a CO2 magazine if you prefer that gas.

Good to know
Run it on a good-quality green gas made for airsoft, never lighter fluid or butane, and keep the magazine lips and seals lightly lubricated with silicone oil. Gas pistols lose some efficiency in cold weather, so warm the magazine in your hand or a pocket on chilly days. Although it has a tan frame, this is still treated as a realistic imitation firearm (RIF) in the UK, so you will need a valid defence such as UKARA to buy it, and you must be 18 or over. Always wear eye protection and check your site’s power limits before playing.
